Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) is a monthly online-only open access journal publishing research and news with support from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. All content is accessible for free online, and there are no subscription or author fees. With a 2016 impact factor of 9.78, EHP is one of the most highly ranked journals in Toxicology, Environmental Sciences, and Public, Environmental and Occupational Health.

Aims and Scope
The aim of EHP is to publish highly credible information that enhances our understanding of the relationship between the environment and human health. EHP’s scope is broad, encompassing many disciplines, including experimental toxicology (using in vitro and in vivo approaches), epidemiology, exposure science, and risk assessment.

EHP is a publication of the U.S. Federal Government, and its content lies in the public domain. However, images used in articles may have been licensed from commercial organizations or individuals.
